This Thursday, Vargas will paint a mural of the chart-topping group in his popular signature style followed by a high-energy Free Wired performance by FM. Once the mural is painted, FM will start their performance while the mural dries in the background by the end of their set. The finished painting will symbolize "staying present and capturing the moment," states Vargas. He continues, "Fans of FM and myself will get to experience both Music and Art like never before at the Art Walk."

Far East Movement and Vargas are heavily influenced by the thriving Downtown LA scene where they both have hometown roots. FM invited Vargas to make a cameo appearance in the music video for their platinum selling smash hit single "Rocketeer" as the artist that designs the jet pack. The music video was shot in the Downtown LA neighborhood where FM and Vargas grew up. Vargas brought the current collaboration to FM as a means of furthering artistic dialogue within the community by making their collective art accessible in the true spirit of artistically expression.

Following FM's performance, the focus shifts back to Vargas as he then will be creating on the spot portraits of attendees.
